Wartburg offers more than 50 academic majors in the liberal arts and in professional areas such as business administration, education, music, and communication arts among many others. Our graduates find satisfying jobs and are admitted into top graduate and professional schools. With small classes (only about 17 students per class) and an excellent faculty-student ratio of 11 to 1, you will get personal attention from your professors at Wartburg.

The college has a diverse study body with students coming from about 25 U.S. states and 50 other countries. International students comprise approximately 10 percent of the student body.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in campus activities such as service, clubs, sports, and music; the possibilities are endless! We are proud of our Urban Studies program that allows students to intern in urban cities in the U.S. while still living in Wartburg housing and earning school credit. One of our most popular city is in Denver, Colorado.

Here on our campus, you will receive a high quality education in which you will earn your bachelor’s degree in a safe, friendly community in the Midwestern United States.

Wartburg College offers scholarships for international students ranging up to $27,000 per year, depending on academic merit, financial need, and participation in activities and community service. All students are considered for scholarship at the time of admission; you don’t need to fill out a separate application.
