Twenty Bonner scholars are selected each year based on their high financial need and their demonstrated commitment to serve during their high school careers. International students interested in applying for the Bonner program must have demonstrated financial need as determined by completing the DePauw University Student Certification of Finances. Accepted students receive a need-based financial aid award with limited loans that meets their demonstrated financial need. In addition, students receive extensive training in return for their commitment to the four-year program. Students are required to submit an application to DePauw University before they can apply for the Bonner Scholar program.
