Kennedy Scholarships give full-funding to enable British citizens who are graduates of British universities to take graduate programmes at both Harvard University and MIT. They are awarded annually in competition. In the same season as applying to the Trust for a scholarship, applicants must make a separate and independent application to their programme(s) of choice at Harvard and/or MIT, complying with all stipulations and deadlines. Scholarship awards made at interview in London in January are provisional, pending confirmation of admission in the US.

Other Criteria | For awards tenable in 2019-20, applicants who will graduate in 2018-19 are eligible; in addition, those who completed their bachelor's degree no earlier than 2014 may apply. As part of the British national memorial to President Kennedy, applicants with a strong public service ethos are welcomed. Trustees will look for a well-researched and argued case for the proposed course, intellectual attainment, potential for leadership. See the website for full information. |
