We fully appreciate how challenging it can be to start a new business – particularly for those who are also studying at university or college. That’s why we have decided to launch a new programme devoted exclusively to helping aspiring young entrepreneurs get their business ideas off the ground. Our scholarship is open to all students studying at an officially recognised or listed UK and US higher learning or further education institution, and it is specifically designed to supplement each student’s annual income, to enable them to spend more time pursuing and developing a new business idea. Whether you would like to attend a trade show, invest in new materials for a prototype, or you simply need some financial help to set up your first company, our scholarship seeks to provide you with all the support you need to succeed. What is the award? As part of this year’s scholarship, we will award up to 6 students with a bursary of £1,000 or $1,250. This is a one-off payment, and should be utilised to further develop each winner’s business concept.
