Anna Harrison currently serves as the Assistant Director of International Admissions at Duquesne University, a tier-1 Catholic private university located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her role focuses on the recruitment, evaluation, and scholarship awarding of international undergraduate students. In previous positions, she was an international student admissions counselor / immigration advisor at a boarding school, and also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for almost 3 years in West Africa, developing programs to increase girls’ retention in school and working with underserved female populations such as apprentices or market businesses. Lastly, she also served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Philadelphia, working in an inner-city school to provide college/career assistance and leading student organizers to create large scale communicate service projects. She has a degree in International Relations & French from Duquesne University. She regularly makes presentations to global audiences on how to apply to American schools and how to navigate the admissions process.
