Tsvetoslava Karaivanova from Xavier University
International Student Advisor at Xavier University
My name is Tsvetoslava Karaivanova, but everyone calls me Tsvety (probably because it's easier to say), and I am currently an International Student Advisor at Xavier University. While my home country is Bulgaria, I came to the U.S. in 2005 to study at Northern Kentucky University and have certainly made a life and career in the tristate area. As a former international student myself, I have experienced many of the challenges and opportunities international students face.
I received both of my degrees from NKU - a BA in Criminal Justice and Pre-Law, and a MS in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change. Prior to my work at Xavier, I spent 4 years working in Development for NKU. I'm passionate about working at a higher education institution, it allows me to stay connected to people from all over the world.
