Vera Vlasenko is the International Student and Scholar advisor at Westfield State University, where she has worked since 2009. Originally from Uzbekistan, Vera personally knows the challenges facing International Students as they make the adjustment to studying in a foreign environment. In her current role, Vera is responsible for International student orientations and information seminars, regarding immigration and integration matters specific to F1/J-1/others visa students. Vera is ready to assist with any questions concerning international student affairs, including immigration status or applications for residency, green cards, and work permits.
Located 90 miles west of Boston in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, Westfield State University is a public liberal arts University with 5000 undergraduate students.
