Welcome to the 154th issue of the International Student News!

November was a busy month here at InternationalStudent.com. We crowned the winner in the 2011 Travel Video contest, celebrated International Education Week, and our travel season closed on a high note, as we hit nineteen international education conferences this fall. It's good to be home again!

Now that things are settling back down, we are delighted to introduce the new International Student Loan comparison tool, making the process of financing an international education just a little bit simpler. Just in time for the new semester!

Happy Holidays!

> 2011 Travel Video Contest Winner

Travel Video ContestAfter weeks of intense build up, we finally crowned our 2011 Travel Video contest winner - congratulations to Jonathan Moore for winning the $4,000 grand prize with "English Swaggin!" You can follow Jonathan on the Study Abroad Blog as he prepares to leave and then heads overseas to Edge Hill University in England.

2011 was a blockbuster year for the competition, with more entries and more interest than ever before. We also had more talent and quality amongst the finalists, so it was very hard to pick a winner. Finally, many voters expressed their preference, as the entrants reached out by Twitter and Facebook to get suppport. We thank you all for entering, and we are already looking forward to watching all of the 2012 video contest entries!

> International Student Loan Comparison Tool

International Student Loan is proud to launch the first ever student loan comparison tool designed solely for international students. Simply choose your school from the list, and the comparison tool will tell you exactly which lenders have a loan for international students at your school in the USA. You will see the basic terms of the loans offered by each lender, and you can choose the best loan for you.

Although there are other comparison tools out there, none of them have been designed to serve international students in particular - so you can waste a lot of time completing applications with lenders that will not lend to international students! International Student Loan will save you time and get you connected with the best loan.

> Featured Schools

For international students who are looking to study in the USA, our growing list of featured schools is an excellent place to start when researching schools. The featured listings provide you with much more information about the school in question such as type of degrees offered, full financial aid information, enrollment information, student profiles and school photos. For example, the Ohio Center for Broadcasting has student profiles and direct feeds to their Twitter and Facebook so you can connect with them socially!

We also make contacting schools as easy as possible, with direct contact forms on the right, simply fill out the information and most of our schools will respond to you within 24 hours, sometimes even sooner! Good luck and keep checking back as we add more schools!
