Studying Russian in Russia has been a longtime dream for me and this summer it is finally becoming a reality. The study abroad program I am attending is an intense Advanced Russian Language course and Russian Politics course at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University of Peter the Great over the summer of 2019. Saint Petersburg was created by Tsar Peter the Great as his “Window of Europe” and is the cultural capital of Russia.
