For my entire life, I've had many goals. Never would I have imagined that I would be blessed enough to be so close to graduating college, as well as being able to study abroad for an entire semester. My parents have never been wealthy, and I've worked hard academically for scholarships to be able to make it easier for them and still accomplish my dreams. My last step is to study abroad in Sweden. After one full-ride scholarship fell through and I was not placed in another exchange program, I finally found the place that I will call home next semester. Beyond finishing my undergraduate, study abroad will allow me to be closer to my international friends than ever before. I hope to visit them all one day and connect in a place that they call home. That's what makes life beautiful. We are all stories and memories tied together, and we blossom when we share that with one another. I promised to my friends that I would find them again, and I never break promises.
