When I decided to participate in this video contest, I thought long and hard about what i wanted to do. I knew I had to be creative and different from other contestants, but then I thought that the only way to do this was to be myself. So, my concept for this video is who I am and my dreams, Buenos Aires. I named this video 'Una Promesa', which means 'A Promise', because before I came to Taiwan, I promised myself to study hard and make my dreams come true. So, here I am, trying to fulfill that promise.

My dream is to study or better yet, live, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, If I am able to win this year's award, I plan to apply in a one-month summer course in Buenos Aires University. The summer course that I plan to apply to does not only include Spanish courses but also weekly Argentine Tango courses. I love to dance and being able to dance the Argentine Tango is also a big part of my dream. During that one-month stay in Argentina, I plan to live with an Argentine family (homestay program) so I can learn the Argentine social culture directly from the people.

Basically, this program, excluding the visa and plane tickets, would cost me a large sum of money. Since I am studying in Taiwan based on scholarship, this trip to Argentina has never really been included in my agenda. For all this time, it was merely a dream. Now, through this competition I have hope.
