For years I have been interested in studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking country such as Cuba, but due to previous commitments to my intercollegiate soccer team I have been unable to do so. Finally, in the summer of 2014 I will have the opportunity to take this trip. I am extremely excited to experience all that Cuba has to offer: the music, the food and drink, the language, the people and the unique way of life, among other things. I hope to improve my Spanish through my extended studies and hope to even master the beautiful language! This video is a silly fun representation of many of the things that I have been looking forward to experiencing through my studies in Cuba. With a little financial help I will take the trip I have dreamed of taking for many years now, and I hope that this video illustrates my outgoing personality. I have no doubt that I will make the best of my trip, and return home with many stories, incomparable experiences and new friends.
