Randy Bush currently serves as the International Academic Advisor at Butler Community College which has a traditional, residential campus in El Dorado, Kansas and a commuter campus in Andover, Kansas which are both located east of Wichita metropolitan area. International advisors at Butler handle all aspects of international student services, international admission and recruitment, and international student life activities. Randy is also an adjunct professor in International Relations (IR) and has been teaching IR for 30 years. Randy has a B.S. in Political Science from the University of South Dakota and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to taking his current position at Butler Community College, Randy served as assistant professor at Wichita State University and Gustavus Adolphus College for 10 years. Recently, Randy has led study tours for students and faculty at Butler to Eastern Europe, Italy & Greece with another planned for Ireland in 2017.
